Domain History

In April 2001 Osman Keskin and Andreas Nöthen finished their graduate engineer at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne. One part of this work was developing augmented reality application based on the ARToolKit called WinAR (see Software). Another part was an augmented reality example workflow (see Example Workflow).
To share this information and the WinAR software, a homepage with the domain augmented-reality.net was constructed (see Homepage). After a few years the homepage was deleted because of lack of interest.
In September 2009 augmented-reality.net started again as a social bookmarking homepage for augmented reality news and networking.
