Augmented Reality Network

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit this website. The site presents augmented reality projects as static pages. Its code has no accounts, contact form, newsletter subscription, or visitor analytics.

Hosting and access logs

The website is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. When you open a page, the server must process your IP address and the requested file to deliver it to your browser. This technical processing is necessary even if no access log is kept. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR; my legitimate interest is to provide a functioning and secure website. ALL-INKL processes this data as the hosting provider on my behalf. See ALL-INKL's privacy information for information about its own processing.

In the hosting account settings shown for this website, the option “No logs are generated” is selected. Therefore, no visitor access logs or access-log statistics (Webalizer) are generated for this account. The displayed setting to delete log files after seven days has no effect while logging is disabled. If these account settings change, this policy will be updated.

YouTube videos

The video preview images are stored on this website. Viewing a preview does not contact YouTube. The YouTube player is loaded only if you choose “Play video”. It uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embedding mode (youtube-nocookie.com). When the player loads, your browser connects to Google/YouTube and may send your IP address, the page address or referrer, and technical information about your browser and device. Google may store or read cookies or similar information and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Privacy-enhanced mode limits personalisation; it does not stop all data processing.

The player is loaded only when you click “Play video”; this optional loading is based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR and, where applicable, Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can read the project descriptions without loading a video. You can withdraw consent for further loading on this page by reloading it; this does not undo processing that already took place. The separate “Watch on YouTube” link takes you directly to YouTube, where Google’s own privacy terms apply.

For details about Google’s processing and international transfers, see Google’s Privacy Policy and its data transfer information. I do not control how long Google keeps data collected through its player.

Emails and external links

If you email me, I use your email address and message to answer you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: my legitimate interest is to respond to inquiries. I keep the correspondence only as long as needed for the inquiry or a legal obligation. Links to other sites, such as LinkedIn and YouTube, do not contact those services merely because they appear here. Their privacy policies apply after you open them.

Cookies and analytics on this website

This website itself does not set cookies or use browser storage for tracking. It has no analytics script, and access-log statistics are disabled in the hosting account. YouTube may use cookies or similar technologies after you load a video, as described above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may request access to, correction or deletion of, or restriction of processing of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, request data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Please contact me using the email address above. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the North Rhine-Westphalia Data Protection Authority.

Changes to this policy

I will update this page if the website’s features or data processing change.
